AEA_2014_DenverVia Evaluation team members Jessica Weitzel, Amy Puca, and Komani Lundquist attended the annual conference of the American Evaluation Association in Denver, CO last week, October 15th through October 18th. They attended a wide variety of conference sessions on different topics in evaluation. Some of these topics included: data visualization; evaluation of STEM, after-school, early childhood, and other programs; logic modeling, community asset mapping, and innovative evaluation methods.

Komani, who was a first-time attendee, said she learned: how to make Data Placemats, thanks to Veena Pankaj (@VeenaPankaj); lots of new and better methods for presenting data thanks to Chris Lysy (@clysy), Stephanie Evergreen (@evergreendata), and Ann Emery (@AnnKEmery); website best practices, and so much more!
