Description of grant:

OJJDP FY 2021 Second Chance Act Youth Offender Reentry Program provides funding for comprehensive reentry services delivered before, during, and after release to youth who are identified as medium- to high-risk. Local, state, and tribal governments may partner with service providers and 501(c)(3)s to apply for this funding. 501(c)(3)s may apply for a separate category of funding focused on providing (1) transitional services that assist in the reintegration of youth into the community and (2) training on offenders and victims’ issues.

Applicants are required to include in their proposal a plan for collecting the data required for performance measures. Organizations that are interested in contracting with Via Evaluation to provide evaluation services should they be awarded Second Chance Act funding should contact us for assistance with this part of the proposal.
