Via Evaluation (formerly Ciurczak & Company, Inc.) staff members Emily Hagstrom and David Wade attended the National 21st Century Community Learning Centers Summer Institute from July 31st to August 1st in New Orleans, LA. The institute was an opportunity for 21st CCLC after-school providers to discuss new ideas and strategies to enhance and improve after-school programs, services, and activities.
Mr. Wade co-wrote a presentation delivered by Laura Zielinski, Johanna Hawkins, and Kim Luce from Child and Adolescent Treatment Services on behalf of their after-school program held at Southside Elementary in the Buffalo Public Schools. The presentation was titled “Get in Line: Aligning your After-School Program with the Day School” and included useful tools for other programs to use when creating a seamless connection between after-school program elements and day-school education.
