Federal grants increasingly require applicants to include evaluation designs that could meet rigorous What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) Evidence Standards. The standards require quasi-experimental or experimental designs, with many additional requirements in place to gather high-quality evidence. In recognition of this need, two Via Evaluation staff have earned the WWC Group Design Standards Certificate. Ms. Weitzel and Ms. Taggart completed the certificate recently so that they can ensure we are meeting client needs.

The WWC hosts an online database that helps educators and others find and use evidence in program design as well. Via Evaluation is very familiar with the database, and receives regular updates about new research included on the WWC website.
