OASAS Improving LivesThe NYS Office of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (OASAS) is seeking proposals from county local government units (LGUs) and nonprofit organizations to establish youth clubhouses that will  offer activities and non-clinical services to adolescents or young adults who are recovering from or at risk of developing substance abuse disorders.

Through this program, Youth Clubhouse Planning Supplement, OASAS will provide up to $250,000 in annual funding for up to six clubhouses throughout the state. Nonprofit applicants must submit letters of support from their county LGUs, with which grant contracts will be executed. Questions will be accepted by OASAS until 7/24/15. Proposals must be received by 5 pm on 9/18/15.
