The New York State Education Department (NYSED) is accepting applications from school districts for its Basic School Improvement Grant. Focus Districts, Priority Schools, Focus Schools and Local Assistance Plan (LAP) Schools that are identified as of August 31, 2015 are eligible for funding.
Districts may receive $50,000, as well as an additional $75,000 for a Priority School, $50,000 for a Focus School, and $20,000 for a LAP School.
If your plan is to begin activities in September, 2015, your application must be received by NYSED on or before August 31, 2015. Proposals are accepted through 11/30/15.
