Vive Executive Director to Receive Award from Leadership Buffalo

Ms. Angela Jordan-Mosley, MBA, Executive Director of Vive, Inc. will receive the Leadership Buffalo’s Diversity Award from the 10^th Annual Values Award Luncheon on May 2, 2013 at the Hyatt Regency Buffalo. The Diversity Award is given to a person that:

 is aware of personal biases and prejudices

 develops/supports/promotes positive relationships that cross real or perceived barriers (ethnic, racial, religious, economic, political, geographic etc.)

 exemplifies an appreciation of diverse populations and perspectives in their personal practice, and

  understands and values “otherness”, or those human qualities that are different from our own and outside the groups to which we belong.

Vive, Inc. is one of the largest refugee shelters in the United States, and Ms. Jordan-Mosley and Gary Ciurczak have begun talking about ways Via Evaluation could provide support to their efforts.
