FEMA_ClrHave you identified a measurable fire risk in the population or community that you serve? You may be eligible to apply for funds from FEMA’s Fire Prevention and Safety grant, a program whose primary goal is to reduce injury and prevent death among high-risk populations.

Funding is available to implement education/awareness programs, including comprehensive home fire safety campaigns, as well as code enforcement and arson investigation activities. Funding is also available to measure fire risk, so as to have data to inform program planning and future FEMA applications.

Important dates: The application portal opens on 3/16/15 and closes on 4/17/15.

If the population or community that you serve could benefit from this, contact us now at (716) 362-0627 or send us an email.
