New Opportunity Provides $ for Non-profits to Introduce Low-income Students to College

The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation The New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (NYS HESC) has announced the availability of funds to reduce the financial burden of college tours for low-income students. Through the College Tour Reimbursement Program, part of NYS HESC’s College Access Challenge Grant (CACG) program, eligible nonprofits can apply for reimbursement of expenses incurred by taking low-income students on college tours. The process begins with submission of a Pre-Approval Request. HESC has $1,000,000 available for this program, and there is a cap of $45,000 per eligible organization.

This grant does not have a deadline. Pre-Approval Requests will be reviewed and approved on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
