About VIA

Via Evaluation (VIA) is seeking a new team member who enjoys organizing administrative work, creating systems and efficiencies, and being part of an expert team.

Located in downtown Buffalo, New York, VIA is a consulting firm dedicated to helping school districts, colleges/universities, and community based organizations use data to improve. We provide our clients with applied social science services: data collection (surveys, focus groups, interviews), data analysis (using various statistical methods), and data reports geared towards usability and readability. We also offer comprehensive program evaluation services for year-long or multi-year grant funded projects.

The office manager is an integral part of the VIA team. They work to support office systems, for all company administrative functions: Human Resources, Technology, Bookkeeping, Marketing, and general administrative work.


Position requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience,
  • a valid driver’s license and has a car,
  • high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • are extremely comfortable using computers and information systems,
  • have knowledge or willingness to learn all components of the position,
  • excel at setting up systems to organize and track information,
  • plan and prioritize work to meet short- and long-term deadlines,
  • are eager to develop themselves professionally and seek feedback,
  • Excellent and detailed organizational skills,
  • Creative in problem solving,
  • Strong writing & composition skills,
  • share our above stated core values.

It is a plus to have experience with any of the following:

  • Marketing with various programs and applications (e.g. Mailchimp, social media),
  • HIPAA and data compliance measures,
  • Prior experience with Quickbooks/ bookkeeping,
  • Human Resources Experience,
  • Computer problem solving experience.
